Senior Sales Advisor – Electronics & IT (M/F)

Job Description:

Cotubex, a store specialized in electronic components and IT hardware located in Ixelles (Brussels), is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Advisor to handle sales from A to Z, maintain an organized and welcoming store, and supervise a junior employee as well as students. You will work directly with management in a human-sized environment that combines expertise, advice, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and advise customers (in-store, by phone, online orders) Handle cash register, record sales, and process returns Open and close the store (alarm, security) Keep the counter and shelves clean, tidy, and attractive Supervise a junior salesperson and students, teaching them best practices Receive deliveries, restock, and participate in inventories Contribute to store promotion (products, offers, social media) Follow up and prepare orders Suggest actions to improve the average basket and customer experience

Technical Skills:

Electronics: Good knowledge of basic components (resistors, transistors, etc.) Ability to advise on products such as power supplies, batteries, cables, multimeters, Raspberry Pi kits, smart devices, lighting IT: Knowledge of internal PC components (Mac & PC) Ability to build or diagnose a PC (intermediate level) Basic networking skills: Wi-Fi, CPL, Access Point Comfortable with Windows and basic office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) Tools used: Internal management software (no technical skills required) Cash register, scanner, simple web interfaces

• Professional appearance and calm, reliable demeanor
• Engaged and able to work without constant supervision
• Capable of supervising juniors with pedagogy and firmness
• Healthy and balanced lifestyle

Languages:

• French: excellent oral and written proficiency required
• Dutch and/or English: oral skills are a plus

We offer:

• Contract type: Full-time, permanent
• Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (break from 1:00 to 2:00 PM)
• Day off: 1 day/week (to be discussed)
• Location: Avenue des Saisons 100, 1050 Ixelles
• Salary: According to experience
