Zinc paint with a high zinc content for the galvanic corrosion protection of steel surfaces. ZINC 62 forms a galvanically active protective film.

The zinc powder acts as a "reactive anode" and slowly transforms into a water-insoluble zinc oxide layer in corrosive environments. This process and the layer that forms protect the base material from further attack. This is why ZINK 62 also has a protective effect on scratches in the paint layer. The balanced ratio of binder content and high-purity zinc guarantees a high mechanical load-bearing capacity of the paint layer and, at the same time, lasting active corrosion protection in the event of damage to the painted surface.

ZINK 62 contains no chlorinated or aromatic solvents and is free of lead and chromates. The paint layer is suitable for spot welding and can be painted over. ZINK 62 is used as a protective paint for steel constructions, in particular for the repair of galvanised surfaces.

Surfaces treated with ZINK 62 can be electrically welded. It is therefore also suitable as corrosion protection for parts that are no longer accessible after installation.

Dangerous: Observe safety precautions. Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurised container: can burst under heat. Causes severe eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic organisms, causes long-term adverse effects.
