LaCie 2big RAID 16 TB – External RAID Storage 2 bays USB-C

The LaCie 2big RAID 16 To is a two-drive desktop storage enclosure, designed for photographers, videographers and creatives who work with large files and want reliable backup.

It contains two Seagate IronWolf Pro drives of 8 To (7200 rpm), enterprise-class.
You choose the operating mode according to your needs:

• RAID 0 (factory setting) : the two drives combine, providing 16 To usable and transfer speeds up to 440 Mo/s.
• RAID 1 : the second drive is an exact copy of the first, providing 8 To usable, but your data survives a drive failure.
• JBOD : two independent drives.

Drives can be hot-swapped without shutting down the device.
Connection is via a single USB-C cable (USB 3.1 Gen 2, 10 Gb/s), compatible with Windows and Mac.
LaCie Toolkit software guides RAID configuration and LaCie RAID Manager monitors drive status.

Limited 5-year warranty, with Rescue data recovery service included for 5 years.
